‘Regime of silence’ to go into effect in two Syrian cities
Sources in Moscow reported Friday that the US and Russia have reached an agreement on a "regime of silence", starting at midnight, in the areas of Damascus and Latakia in Syria. Western sources said the deal includes Aleppo where heavy fighting has been raging for the past few days. But the State Department says Aleppo will be included eventually.
No further details on the nature of the "regime of silence" were given.
