Repeat Israel strike at Syria’s Latakia port

Syrian media claim an Israeli air strike took place over the Mediterranean port of Latakia overnight Monday. Syrian air defenses targeted the jets. A number of containers and storage buildings caught fire and were seriously damaged. Iran is believed to be using Latakia as a port of entry for arms supplies to its proxy militias in Lebanon and Syria. The first Israeli attack on this port was reported last month.
