Reported Israeli air strikes in Syria against Hizballah targets

Two Arab TV channels – Al Jazeera and Al Arabiya – report that Israel carried out several air strikes against Hizballah and the Syrian army in the Qalamoun Mts on the Lebanese border on Wednesday and Friday nights. Al Jazeera reported that Friday night, the IAF targeted he Syrian army’s 155th and 65th Divisions which are responsible for strategic weapons and long-range missiles including Scuds.

Al Arabiya reported that the earlier Israeli air raids also hit Hizballah military convoys in the same district Wednesday. These reports are not confirmed by Israel or Syria.
