Reports: Nikki Haley in line to replace Tillerson

Some US media are reporting that President Donald Trump is considering UN Ambassador Nikki Haley for Secretary of State. Rex Tillerson is described as not happy in the job or with his relationship with the White House and the president.  Some sources say Secretary Tillerson had not developed working ties with the professional staff at the State Department staff and that US ambassadors overseas were not getting answers to their queries about the official line on various issues. A number of undersecretary posts have not been filled, creating a gap in the department’s decision-making process. The department is therefore not functioning as it should. Haley is the leading candidate for the job, but there are others as well.
