Retired senior US general targeted over alleged leaks

Retired Marine Gen. James “Hoss” Cartwright, a former vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, is under investigation for allegedly leaking information about a massive attack using a computer virus named Stuxnet on Iran’s nuclear facilities for a book by David Sanger, a New York Times reporter. He is targeted by the Justice Department under the Espionage Act for allegedly leaking classified information about “a covert US cyber attack on Iran’s nuclear program.”
