Rocket alerts in Ashkelon and Kibbutz Zikim

Palestinian rocket fire from the Gaza Strip triggered alerts Tuesday evening in the town of Ashkelon and Kibbutz Zikim after 38 fires were ignited by arson balloons. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.  The IDF  identified a rocket launched from Gazs. Hamas reported that Israel had rejected the demands it transmitted through an Egyptian delegation. PM Netanyahu warned community leaders next door to the Gaza Strip: “We must prepare for another round or rounds (of warfare), although we hope it won’t come to that.” He added: “Hamas will be making a big mistake by carrying on this way.”
