Rocket from Gaza exploded harmlessly at night

The rocket fired from Gaza blew up Sunday night near a pick-up point for schoolchildren on a residential street in Hof Ashkelon. Had it blown up by day, there could have been many casualties. The fragments collected Monday morning showed a high concentration of iron shrapnel for maximizing casualties. Hamas and Jihad Islami leaders in Gaza earlier praised the terrorist who planted a bomb on a Bat Yam bus Sunday. There were no casualties in either attack.
