Rouhani: Iran’s economy in worse shape than during its war with Iraq

President Hassan Rouhani has said that renewed US sanctions had led to worse economic conditions than during the country’s 1980-88 war with neighboring Iraq. “During the war we did not have a problem with our banks, oil sales or imports and exports, and there were only sanctions on arms purchases,” Rouhani told political activists in Tehran: “The pressures by enemies is a war unprecedented in the history of our Islamic revolution … but I do not despair and have great hope for the future … provided we are united.” he said.

    “provided we are united”

They are muslims. That is the uniting element. Communists and muslims together will attack Israel. Their defeat will be sound, and the bear will be sent back home, thin and beaten.

Islamic leaders will always opt for terror and war over what is good for their people. They are not tied to concerns for the well-being of people; they are focused on what advances Islam. They will starve, sacrifice, enslave, attack and torture their own (and everyone else) if that means following the books which have no place in this world, except as dhimmis, for non-believers.
