Rouhani: Israel is an old wound that should be removed

Incoming Iranian president Hasan Rouhani said Friday: "The Zionist regime has been a wound on the body of the Islamic world for years and the wound should be removed.” The leader touted by Western media as a moderate echoed the anti-Israel sentiments of fellow radical Iranian leaders in an address to a pro-Palestinian rally in Tehran two days before his inauguration as president of Iran.
