Rouhani: Zionist interference complicates Syria’s problems

Russian president Vladimir Putin meets his Turkish and Iranian counterparts in Ankara Wednesday for a summit to bring their policies on Syria’s future in line. Before boarding his plane to Turkey, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani issued a statement, in which he blasted the Americans for “thinking of a breakup [of Syria]” and “Zionist forces” whom he said “don’t respect Syrian national sovereignty, bomb areas, support terrorists” and “complicate Syria’s problems.”
