Russia: Armed rebels were in Syrian aid convoy bombed by Su-24 fighters

A senior Russian officer, Igor Konashenkov, said that a video filmed by a drone before Monday evening's airstrike on a Syrian aid convoy heading to the city of Aleppo clearly showed rebel vehicles with heavy machine guns and ammunition traveling in the convoy. The statement came after official American sources blamed Russia for the airstrike by two Sukhoi Su-24 fighters.
