Russia clinches $2.5bn deal to sell Turkey S-400s

In a sharp turn away from NATO, Turkey is to buy Russia’s most advanced missile defense system for $2.5bn. Under the deal, Russia will supply Ankara with two S-400 missile batteries within a year and produce another two in Turkey, according to a Turkish official, who chose to be unnamed.
