Russia and Egypt agree to reciprocal use of their air bases

Moscow Thursday released a draft accord between Russian and Egyptian air forces for their reciprocal use of airspace and air bases, with the caveat that such use requires prior notice five days in advance. Defense Minister Gen. Sergey Shoigu arrived in Cairo on Wednesday to tie up the last ends of the accord, from which Russia stands to gain a second Middle East air base after Hmeimim in Syria. DEBKAfile: Since Egypt has no need of air facilities in Russia, the accord is just the framework for Russian air operations against ISIS, Al Qaeda and other Islamist terrorist groups, which have free rein in eastern Libya. DEBKAfile’s military sources have reported since last May that the Russian air force and special forces regularly use Egypt’s Sidi Barrani air base in the Western Desert, which is located 100km from the Libyan border

Then jews killed His son, and said ‘let his blood be upon us’, then there was no more covenant between them and the Highest. Christians made modern-day Israel possible, Christians will soon make it impossible.

Russia have strong ties with Algeria, and Tunisia in Northern Africa, Libya’s neighbors. Than there’s Botswana, Ghana, Namibia,Tanzania, in the south, all have trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural ties with Russia so it make sense to have a military base.
