Russia expands military control of Crimean airports

Armed Russian troops are reported to have taken over the runways of Crimea’s two main airports in Sevastopol and Simferopol after seizing the port buildings early Friday. Military sources confirm that the 10 Russian military helicopters seen entering Crimean air space in the afternoon came down and landed troop reinforcements at the Russian naval base in Sevastopol.
