Russia extends air strike pause for Aleppo
The Russian Defense Ministry announced a pause in the air strikes conducted over Aleppo in support of the Syrian army to allow rebels and civilians to exit the city and “avoid senseless victims.”
Rebels would be allowed to leave unharmed and with their weapons between 0900 and 1900 local time on Friday Nov. 4 via two special corridors, from which Syrian troops would be pulled back. Civilians and the sick and wounded would be allowed to leave via six other corridors.
