Russia slams Israeli High Court decision to extradite hacker to US


The Russian embassy in Tel Aviv Monday denounced the Israeli High Court’s rejection of accused hacker Aleksey Burkov’s appeal against his extradition to the United States, where he faces charges of criminal hacking. The ruling confirmed the decision of the Justice Minister. “This step is not constructive for the developing of relations between the two countries,” said the embassy statement, “as well as a violation of his rights and Israel’s international obligations.”
