Russia will respond if sanctions imposed over Ukraine

The Russian foreign ministry Fridy denounced the EU’s announcement of “three-step sanctions” against Russia if it refuses to negotiate an end of the Ukraine crisis, as “extremely unconstructive.” Moscow refuses to accept “the language of sanctions and threats.” But if they are implemented, “they will not be left without a response.” Moscow is reported to have decided to break off diplomatic relations with Ukraine.
