Russian air defenses shown at Vostok 2018 exercise
Russian air defense forces drilled anti-air and anti-cruise missile systems on Tuesday during the big Russian-Chinese Vostok 2018 war game taking place in Siberia. The Russian Defense Ministry said that the unit tested the advanced S-400 and S-300 systems as well as Pantsyr-S batteries. These weapons are deployed at the Russian Khmeimim Air Base in Syria, the Pantsyrs having been sent over in the last two weeks in the run-up to the Idlib offensive.
