Russian ambassador to Israel: We can’t remove Iranians from Syria

Anatoly Viktorov, Russia’s ambassador to Israel, said Monday that his country cannot remove Iranian forces from Syria, any more than it can prevent Israel from attacking them. “We can talk to the Iranians freely and frankly,” he said, but when asked if the Russians could persuade them to get out of Syria, he replied: “We cannot dictate to Israel how to proceed. It is not up to Russia to give Israel freedom to do anything, or prohibit Israel from doing anything.”

Neither can we make them leave, but we can definitely make sure they won’t like their stay, and hasten their departure.

I don’t think the Iranians and their proxies are in Syria to grow a vegetable garden. More likely that want to control Syria as they do Lebanon and instigate terrorist attacks along Israel’s northern border. The Russian Ambassador is correct that Israel will have to deal with the Iranians, as they did with the Syrian regime that used to terrorize civilians in Israel from the Golan Heights. It was a costly lesson.

tell the “Russkies ” to hang around , stay out of the way and watch Israel fill up coffins with Iranian proxies and their men . Then let them haul em back to Tehran on their way back home back up north… THE MANUEL says ” the bear from the north will get its teeth knocked out and return home ” they best listen up and cut their losses… THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL neither sleeps nor slumbers and his heart is forever in the Jewish capitol of Jerusalem and against those who even think evil against Abraham’s descendants , he has ordered destruction upon them , and to those who have , HE will abundantly pardon you IF you will but repent of your ways and confess him as Lord of Lords . PS Have you Syrians forgotten the hand that came down out of the clouds and turned over your commanders tank back in 1967 as you lost the Golan heights ?

The US would not tolerate Russian missiles in Cuba, so Israel will not tolerate Fascist Iran weapons in Syria or Lebanon.

Tehran is much smaller than Israel.

Is it time to evacuate Tehran???

If I read the Russian Ambassador right, he is saying that the Russians don’t care if Israel attacks Iranian troops in Syria. They may even want them to. The Iranians want is to build an oil and gas pipeline from Iran through Iraq (which they now control) to Syria so they can sell oil and gas to the European Market. This would directly compete with the Russians selling and controlling Europe (that is a strategic goal/policy of the Russians). The Russians don’t want the Iranians to sell oil to Europe and that pipeline is going to threaten Russian strategic policy. I still don’t know why the Russians wanted to deal with the Iranians in Syria. It is stupid!
