Russian and Israeli military officers end working session

The IDF reported on Thursday that a delegation of high Russian army officers had ended a working meeting with their Israeli counterparts, who were led by Brig Yaniv Asor, head of the Operations Division. According to the statement, they discussed ways of improving their de-escalation mechanism for preventing friction in the “northern arena.” They also talked about Israel’s operations for preventing Iran from establishing itself in Syria and funneling weapons to Hizballah through that country.
