Russian lawmaker: US to build two military bases near Syrian oilfields

 

Senior Russian lawmaker accuses the US of planning to build two military baes near Syria’s oilfield, a violation of its sovereignty, in an attempt to recoup the costs of US military operations in the country. The charge was leveled by Konstantin Kosachev, a member of Russia’s upper house of parliament and chairman of the foreign affairs.     If true, does anyone know why the US is doing this? Wouldn’t Russia be the the more logical nation to defend Syrian oil fields? Very strange, if true.

    Finally, America can recoup its costs of correcting Obama’s imcompetence over there. BTW they can sell Syrian oil directly to the Russians !!! LOL
    Also when we pull out we can hand it over to the Kurds. Fabulous !!
