Russian Mi-28N attack helicopter crashes in Syria, two pilots killed

Russia's Defense Ministry announced Tuesday morning that two helicopter pilots serving with the country's forces in Syria were killed when their Mi-28N crashed near the city of Homs. According to the official announcement, the two-seat attack helicopter "was not shot down." The bodies of the pilots were recovered and transferred to Russia's Hmeymim airbase near Latakia.
