Russian military sources: Khmeimim radar missed Israel’s Aleppo strike
The radar systems at Russia’s Khmeimim air base in northern Syria failed to detect the Israeli aircraft coming in to attack Iranian military facilities in the Aleppo region on March 28, according to Russian and Syrian military sources. The IAF planes dropped heavy guided GBU-39 missiles, known as “bunker-busters,” on the Iranian targets, those sources report.
Drop Missiles like these and some nice pests like Antrax on Teheran and the Mullas have other problems and stop financing and orchestrating international terrorism.

The radar systems “missed” the air strikes? How is this? Was the IDF’s ECM so good, the radars were deceived? If so, how good are the defense systems relying on those radars? Did the IDF use their few F35s? If so, we have proof that the Russian systems cannot see the F35s despite what Russia claims. Were the radars turned off? If so, that is not good management. Or, did the Russians simply look the other way and then lie to their Syrian allies?
It looks like Israel has a few little secrets that they are keeping close to their chest. LOL
the radar is there to protect russian air base it is with the russian advices that iranians built their base near the russian airbase in order to benefit from the russian protection radar protection . of course the radar failed . that confirms what we know techniquely russian technology is inferior to western one
I would be cautious about drawing conclusions, about the failure of Russian radars. The Russians were not directly attacked, even if they saw the planes why defend the Iranians? Iranians should not always be protected by the Russians (in this political phase). IF they actually saw IAF planes, they would have the advantage of having seen them without being obvious. I wish that the Israeli systems are clearly superior, only the IAF really knows they have been collimated by the Russian radars, but certainly it does not tell it publicly.

If those jets were flying very low to the ground, it’s highly possible they were missed on Russian radar. The earth curves and no radar can see through the earth at long distances.

There is an agreement between Israel and Russia: Israel must inform the Russians of a pending attack in Syria prior to the attack. The Russians don’t need or want an Iranian base so close to its main AF base in Syria.
