Russian military sources: Khmeimim radar missed Israel’s Aleppo strike

The radar systems at Russia’s Khmeimim air base in northern Syria failed to detect the Israeli aircraft coming in to attack Iranian military facilities in the Aleppo region on March 28, according to Russian and Syrian military sources. The IAF planes dropped heavy guided GBU-39 missiles, known as “bunker-busters,” on the Iranian targets, those sources report.
