Russian military: Syria downed 71 of 103 cruise missiles

Col. Gen. Sergei Rudskoi of the Russian military’s General Staff said that Syria’s Russian-made air defense systems downed 71 out of 103 missiles launched by the US and allies in Syria. He also claimed that the US, French, British strikes did not cause casualties and inflicted only minor damage on Syrian military facilities. The general  said that Russian air defense assets in Syria monitored the allied missile strikes, but did not directly engage any of the missiles.

West, is acting illegally and clearly for geo-political supremacy and economic privileges of only three members, US, UK and France, such as appened after the I WW. West has definitely lost any reputations as leader of democracy, respect of international law and seek of widespread Peace.
West is ending. Italy should start to look to a new strong partnership with Russia and its Allied, and exit the OTAN pursuant sect. 12 of the Treaty and may be joining the SHOS.
Good luck to Iran and Russia and their very capable Presidents.

What the hell does that mean?
First you say you shot; then you say you monitor; then you say you did not engage?
    What am I missing?

Syrians engaged while Russians just monitored.

Read it again. The general said: “Syria’s Russian-made air defense systems downed 71 out of 103 missiles”.

How did they downed those 71 missiles as they did not engage them? So much contradiction discredits russians; i know they want to reassure their people that Russia is always a world superpower.

Hezbollah HQ was targeted in Quseir.

Hezbollah had to flee back to Lebanon to defend their rear areas and prepare for war with Israel. Hezbollah does this because they are Iran’s zombie poodle.

Hezbollah got combat experience in Syria, but several units were also badly mauled.

Against an Israel that had US backing, Hezbollah would be crushed. That may be the game plan – bait Iran into committing Hezbollah and then destroying it (which the US and Israel could do within a month). Then Lebanon is turned against Iran which would be a major victory.

Syria didn’t fire a single missile until after all allied missiles had hit their targets. Then they fired 40 “unguided” missiles into the air. No telling where those landed and how many Syrians those killed. They have to be the most incompetent army in the world, led by Russia and Iran. The allied attack was led with our best jammer jets and no doubt blinded the Syrians and Russians. There’s a moral in that somewhere.
