Russian National Guard chief: Not everything is going as fast as we would like

Viktor Zolotov, Head of Russia’s National Guard and member its national security council, made this admission on Monday: “I would like to say that yes, not everything is going as fast as we would like [in Ukraine]. But we are gong towards our goal step by step and victory will be for us.” Zolotov, a close aide to President Vladimir Putin is the highest ranking Russian official to admit frankly that the pace of the Ukraine operation has not met Moscow’s expectations.
