Russian-Turkish shooting incident on Aegean

Turkey’s military attaché was summoned to the Russian defense ministry Sunday after the Russian guided missile destroyer Smetlivy fired small arms warning shots at a Turkish vessel in the Aegean to avoid a collision. The incident occurred 22 km from the Greek island of Lemnos in the northern Aegean.
