Russian warplanes make low-altitude passes over US destroyer

The Russian air force on Tuesday buzzed an American guided missile destroyer, the USS Donald Cook, twice on Tuesday in international waters in the Baltic Sea. The US European Command said the flypasts were dangerously close to the ship. One of the warplanes flew just 50 meters over the destroyer, where a Polish helicopter had landed due to a joint exercise by the US and Polish militaries.
