Saudi and Egyptian forces blockade Yemeni ports
There were conflicting reports about a Saudi air strike Monday night. The Iran-backed Houthi rebels claimed 40 civilian deaths were caused in a refugee camp in northern Yemen. The Saudi military spokesman said the incident was being investigated, although witnesses said most of those killed were rebel fighters and the strike was in response to ground fire. After the Saudis achieved control of Yemen’s skies in five days, the Saudi and Egyptian fleets are blockading the country’s ports to stop the rebels receiving fresh arms supplies from Iran.
