Saudis and Bahrain ban Iranian oil vessels from their waters
In a move to clamp down on Iran’s oil exporting trade, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain Tuesday banned Iranian vessels transporting crude to Europe from entering their waters and ports. They also announced that any ships which included Iran in their last three ports of call would require special authorization before entering the waters of both Arab kingdoms. Iranian and exports have recently ticked up to a new peak of 2 million barrels a day.
