Saudis intercept 2 ballistic missiles over Riyadh, Jizan
US Patriots intercepted two ballistic missiles fired against the Saudi capital Riyadh and the southern town of Jizan on Saturday night. Two civilians were slightly injured by falling debris in some residential areas of the two towns, according to the Saudi-led coalition spokesman Turki al-Malki. He blamed the attack on Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels, who have repeatedly staged cross-border attacks on the oil kingdom during the war that just ended its fifth year.
