Thousands of evacuations from homes as several wildfires spread

The fire brigade has called out aircraft to help fight several large wildfires that erupted Friday in different parts of the country amid a heat wave fueled by strong, dry winds. Dozens of people are being evacuated from homes licked by fires in areas around Modiin and Wadi Ara in central Israel and Nof Hagalil in the north.
