Security guards at PM’s residence, presidential staffer test covid-19 positive

Three security guards at the gate of prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s Jerusalem residence have tested positive for coronavirus. Since none entered the residence, quarantine was not ruled for Netanyahu, who tested negative a few days ago. Neither was President Rivlin, although a staffer was diagnosed with the virus. The Presidential Residence has been closed for fumigation.

The Health Ministry reported 177 new cases on Sunday morning, raising the total to 19,008, of which 3,348 are active, 35 serious and 26 on ventilators. The death toll has stood at 300 since Thursday.
