Seven dead, 48 injured in three terror attacks in central London
Terrorist knifing and vehicle attacks in central London Saturday night and early Sunday left seven dead and 48 people injured, many in critical condition. London police reported early Sunday that three of the terrorists were shot dead by police armed with machine guns 8 minutes from the start of the incident. A manhunt is on for more suspects and accomplices. The canisters worn by the dead terrorists were fake “bomb vests.” The attacks took place on London Bridge which crosses the River Thames and at two sites in nearby Borough Market, which is teeming with bars, restaurants and night life.
