Shelling from Gaza continues: another round hits Nahal Oz
Hamas fighters in Gaza fired another bomb at the area of Kibbutz Nahal Oz early Wednesday evening, the fourth mortar attack against Israel by Hamas since the previous day. Nobody was injured and there was no damage.
Earlier in the day, there were two incidents in which mortar shells were fired from Gaza at IDF troops on the Israeli side of the border. None of the soldiers were injured, and IDF tanks responded by firing warning shots at Hamas observation posts.
The IDF declared the Nahal Oz area as a "closed military zone" in the afternoon without specifying the reason for its decision.
