Shin Bet breaks up Palestinian terrorist cell in Jenin
Israel’s domestic security agency, the Shin Bet, released information Thursday about a Palestinian Popular Front terrorist cell which had been sought for conducting a string of shooting attacks on Israeli civilians and security personnel in the Jenin, Nablus and Tulkarm regions. Headed by Ahmed Shafiq Sa’abne, a lawyer, its members come from the Jenin district and were in custody.
Thursday morning, a Palestinian pulled a knife and tried to stab Israeli troops manning a Hebron checkpoint, He was shot and neutralized before causing injury.
