Shin Bet stops transfer of 40 diving suits to Gaza

A consignment of 40 diving suits labeled as sports outfits was stopped by Israeli customs officials at the Nitzana crossing Monday. The Shin Bet suspected they were destined for Hamas’ naval commando unit. During the IDF Gaza operation last summer, four Hamas commandoes were intercepted trying to raid Kibbutz Zikim from the sea.
