Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported Tuesday that the delivery of S-300 air defense systems to Syria has been completed. Work on installing a unified air defense control system will be finished by Oct. 20. Earlier Tuesday, The US State Department said that if Russia sent its S-300 air defense systems to Syria, it would lead to a “serious escalation.”
