Sinai roadside bomb kills Egyptian police brigadier

In one of the most high-profile police deaths in the Islamist terror campaign against Egypt, Police Brig. Gen. Ahmed Ibrahim was killed Wednesday by a roadside bomb in the northern Sinai province of al-Arish. He was a deputy in the provincial criminal investigations department. A police colonel was wounded in the attack.
