Six East African leaders take on South Sudan peace mission
Six East African leaders will travel to South Sudan Thursday for an attempt to advance peace talks and end 10 days of factional and ethnic violence. Tuesday, the UN Security Council acted to double the size of its peacekeeping force in the embattled country by adding 5,500 troops. The UN mission in South Sudan has meanwhile denied a report by the Berlin office of the finding of a mass grave with 75 bodies in Bentiu, Unity State.
