Six Israelis killed, including 2 children, in cable accident in Italy

A cable car taking visitors to a mountaintop view of North Italy’s Lake Maggiore crashed to the ground on Sunday killing 14 people, including six Israelis.

The victims appear to include an Israeli couple living in Italy and their two children, as well as an elderly couple, likely visitors from Israel. The information is still being verified by the Foreign Ministry. Their names are meanwhile withheld until their families are notified.
