Six more countries join European sanctions-busting group for Iran

Six new members joined the Instex barter mechanism designed by France, Germany and the UK to circumvent Trump administration sanctions against trade with Iran. They are Belgium, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden. The Paris-based Instex functions as a clearing house that allows Iran to continue to sell oil and import other products or services in exchange while avoiding the use of the dollar.
