Small explosions against Communist HQ in N. China
One person was killed and 8 injured by a series of small explosions which hit the provincial headquarters of the ruling Communist Party in Taiyuan, northern China’s Shanxi Province. Steel ball bearings typical of terrorist attacks were found at the scene. The attack came a week after a car bomb attack killed five people at Tiananmen Gate in Beijing. Muslim separatists from Xinjiang were blamed.
