Snowden: NSA and British intel monitored PM Olmert’s e-mail

Documents newly released by Edward Snowden reveal a British document from 2009 showing that the British GCHQ and American NSA were targeting then Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and the communications between Defense Minister Ehud Barak and his bureau chief Yoni Koren. The New York Times notes that the US and Israeli governments were at the time at odds on Israel’s preparations to attack Iran’s nuclear program while cooperating for launching a cyber attack on Iran’s main nuclear enrichment facility.
