South Sudanese rivals start peace talks after truce accord

South Sudan’s President Salva Kirr and his former deputy, Riek Macher, leader of the rebellion against him, have arrived in Addis Ababa for talks on settling their feud.  They both agreed to a ceasefire and the appointment of mediators after more than two weeks of blooding fighting. No date was set for the ceasefire to go into effect.
