Stakes high as Trump, Clinton take stage for final presidential debate
Republican nominee Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton will square off Wednesday night for the third and final time before the US presidential election, hoping to expand their support bases and win over undecided or wavering voters. The 90-minute debate in Las Vegas will start at 9pm eastern time. Trump has recently been fighting allegations of sexual misconduct and over the past few days has questioned the legitimacy of the popular vote, claiming that the election may be rigged. Clinton, meanwhile, faces questions over her trustworthiness regarding damaging disclosures by WikiLeaks as well as her use of a private e-mail server when she served as secretary of state. The debate will have six 15-minute segments on the topics of foreign hot spots, immigration, fitness to be president, debt and entitlements, the Supreme Court, and the economy. Three weeks are left before Election Day.
