Start of Israel’s vaccination drive set for next week

Health authorities report that 313,000 does of the Pfizer vaccine have arrived in Israel with another 3.8 million due by the end of the month. Medical personnel will begin to be vaccinated on Sunday along with high-risk elderly persons followed by the launch of  mass inoculation. The coronavirus czar, Prof. Nahum Ash, predicted on Tuesday that if the vaccination campaign goes according to plan, the country may start returning to normal life for Passover which begins on March 28.
