Stormy ultra-religious protests, clashes with police

Ultra-religious (haredi) neighborhoods in Jerusalem and other towns were the scenes of stormy demonstrations Tuesday for the fourth night in a row. They were protesting against “discriminatory closures” and alleged police violence. Elsewhere in Jerusalem, outside the prime minister’s residence, several hundred demonstrations called on Binyamin Netanyahu to resign.
