Suicide bomber kills at least 40 killed at N. Afghanistan mosque

Clad in police uniform, he detonated his bomb as worshippers, many of them police officers, came out of a mosque in Maymana, capital of the relatively quiet Faryab province after Eid Friday prayers. The reportedly wounded provincial police chief may have been the target.
