Suicide bombers strike Mogadishu hotel. At least 15 killed
In a coordinated attack in the Somalian capital on Wednesday morning, an explosives-packed truck driven by a suicide bomber blew up after crashing into the lobby of a hotel, and another suicide bomber blew himself up at the hotel several minutes later. At least 15 people were killed and dozens of others were wounded. Reports on local social networks reported massive exchanges of gunfire at the Dayahx hotel, where dozens of Somali parliamentarians and many foreign reporters were said to be staying. The front of the hotel collapsed, and adjacent buildings sustained major damage.
