Supreme Court hears appeal on demolition of terrorists’ houses

Three justices from Israel's Supreme Court started hearing an appeal on Thursday, October 29, against the destruction of the houses of the families of the terrorists who murdered Na'ama and Itam Henkin, Nehemia Lavi, Aharon Bennet, Danny Gonen, and Malachi Rozenfeld, among others. The attorney representing the state said there is a consensus among Israel's security establishment that such demolition deters terrorist attacks, while the attorney for the terrorists' families said it is a hasty and improper move.
